      BAYSIDE ESTATES Is a manufactured home community consisting of 585 homes most of which are on Gulf access canals. We are just like any subdivision.  We own our homes and lots and can sell them either ourselves or through a Realtor. Our streets are maintained by Lee County as any county road.

            Bayside Estates is located just 2 1/2 miles from Fort Myers Beach and minutes to Sanibel and Captiva, and minutes to the Gulf of Mexico by boat.

            Being a “Resident Owned” “Deed Restricted”, age 55 park, at least 1 resident of each home must be 55 years or older, although an investor younger than 55 can own a home, they cannot live in it and may rent to only people 55 or older. There is a nine member board of directors who are elected by the residents to conduct the business of the corporation. 

            Bayside Estates has eleven (11) streets. All but 2 streets are on canals. The park is divided into Salt water side and Fresh water side by 2 boat lifts located at the end of Stevens Blvd.  These boat lifts are owned by Bayside and are for use only by Baysiders. Residents living on the fresh water canals can transport their boats to the salt water canal system which carries them to the back bay and then the Gulf.  This double boat lift can transport both small (5000 lbs) boats and large (9000 lbs.) boats, including fuel and equipment and up to 27 feet, from fresh water canals to the salt water canals.  Bryan Ct., Peppard Dr.,the east side of Stevens Blvd, Primrose Ct., and Canal Cove Ct. are on fresh water canals and their boats must go over the lifts. The lifts are self operated and should not take more than 10 minutes to accomplish the transport across to the salt water canals. Time to the Gulf should not exceed 20 minutes.

               Bayside Estates is on city water and sewers.

  Our maintenance fee of $137.00 per month covers the following:

        *Fresh water for home use- 4000 gallons per month.

        *Effluent water for outside and irrigation use- not for human consumption.

        *Lawn mowing

        *Garbage collection includes collection of trash, trimmings, cuttings and recyclables.

        *Club house with kitchen and library

        *Heated pool with picnic pavilion, and grills

        *Shuffleboard courts

        *Golf practice net

        *Horse shoe courts.
